How to choose your rugby protection
There are different types of protection for playing rugby: gum-shields, scrum caps and shoulder pads. The choice of Rugby protection depends on the body areas that the player wishes to protect:
- Teeth > I choose my gum-shields according to my age, ability level and desired comfort level.
- Head > I choose my scrum cap according to my age and desired comfort level (breathability, low weight and ergonomics).
- Chest > I choose my shoulder pads according to the chest areas that I wish to protect (shoulders, back, plexus, ribs, arms), needs that are specific to each rugby player: habits depend on comfort level (breathability and low weight) and/ or previous trauma.
